According to multiple sources, Taft became fixated on Angela Gayle Meador, a Nashville-based recording artist, after discovering Meador’s tribute song to Johnny Depp during the widely publicized Depp v. Heard trial.
The Hawaii ruling followed findings of what the court described as “a pattern” of frivolous discovery tactics. Taft’s federal lawsuit was dismissed voluntarily after nearly two years of explosive allegations that ultimately never reached the merits.
