The Academy announced this week that Floyd Norman will receive the award at the 17th Governors Awards on Nov. 15, alongside actress Glenn Close and filmmaker Ridley Scott. Producers Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler will receive the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.
