In a statement issued through attorney Martin Singer of Lavely & Singer, the Estate called the lawsuit “a desperate money grab by additional members of the Cascio family who have hopped on the bandwagon with their brother Frank, who is already being sued in arbitration for civil extortion.”
Barresi, a longtime Hollywood investigator who had previously worked on matters related to the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard litigation, retained Martin Singer, co-founder of powerhouse firm Lavely & Singer.
